Thank you for purchasing the Litter-Robot 4 by Whisker automatic self-cleaning litter box.
We hope you are satisfied with your product. This warranty is issued by Rickman Trade
OÜ and is valid within the territory of the Republic of Estonia. The warranty applies only to
devices purchased from the official representative or authorized resellers of Whisker. To avoid
unnecessary inconvenience, we recommend reading the user manual carefully before contacting
the reseller. If needed, please contact the official representative, Rickman Trade OÜ, by phone at

Your Warranty
This warranty covers:
- Damage caused by accidents, provided that:
- The damage is due to a design or manufacturing defect that prevents the device or its
parts from working according to the manufacturer’s requirements; - The damage is caused unintentionally (including through negligence), assuming
the device was used according to the manufacturer’s instructions and not misused.
Examples of accidental damage:- Dropping the device while moving it from one room to another;
- Accidental physical damage caused by a cleaner;
- A guest tripping and falling on the device, causing it to break;
- The damage is due to a design or manufacturing defect that prevents the device or its
- Power surges;
- Mechanical and electrical failures;
- Software support for the Whisker app.
Rickman Trade OÜ guarantees that the device is free from defects in materials and
workmanship for the period specified in point 4, starting from the date of purchase. If any
defects are found during this period, Rickman Trade OÜ will replace the device or the defective
part free of charge under the conditions below. Rickman Trade OÜ reserves the right to decide
whether to replace the defective part or the entire unit. Replaced parts remain the property of
Rickman Trade OÜ.
Terms
- In the event of a defect, please first consult the FAQ and other materials published on
litter-robot.ee/KKK. If this does not resolve the issue, contact our customer service by
email at litter-robot@rickman.ee or phone at +372 651 88 69. Our specialists will conduct initial
remote diagnostics. If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, we will send the necessary part
free of charge, including shipping. The part can be installed by following the manufacturer’s
instructions; no service visit is required. - If the unit cannot be repaired through diagnostics or with parts, we will send you a replacement unit at no cost. The defective unit must be returned to us-we will cover the return shipping.
- This warranty is valid only when accompanied by the original receipt or invoice showing the purchase date, product type, and authorized reseller. If warranty service is requested by phone, the receipt must be submitted by email after initial diagnosis. Rickman Trade OÜ reserves the right to deny warranty service if documentation is not provided or is incomplete or illegible.
- Warranty Period:
- The warranty period starts from the date the product is handed over to the buyer. If the seller is obligated to deliver the product to the buyer, the warranty period starts from the date the buyer receives the device.
- For consumer sales (i.e., private individuals for non-commercial use), the warranty period is 2 years.
- For legal entities, the warranty period is 1 year.
- The warranty is void if the device has been modified.
- This warranty does not limit or replace the consumer’s statutory rights. In case of product non-conformity, the buyer has the right to use legal remedies against the seller. The warranty provides additional protection without affecting statutory rights.
If you take the device outside Estonia, this warranty remains valid. However, international shipping costs of the device or parts during repair may be borne by you. - The warranty does not cover:
- Modifications or adaptations of the product for purposes other than those stated in the user manual;
- Damage resulting from misuse, including but not limited to:
- Using the device for an unintended purpose;
- Installation or use not compliant with local technical or safety standards;
(Importing the product into a country where it requires local approval is at the user’s own risk and may be illegal.)
- All issues and/or disputes will be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached within 14 calendar days, consumers (individuals who purchase the product for personal use) have the right to file a complaint with the Consumer Disputes Committee (email: avaldus@komisjon.ee; address: Endla 10A, 10122 Tallinn; phone: +372 620 1707). Conditions and applications are available at www.komisjon.ee. In business-to-business transactions, disputes are resolved according to the general terms of sale.
